The results will be published on the Topper web site for sailors to monitor their performances and position. The results may also be available from the clubs who have held the Traveller events who may publish them on their own websites. The results co-ordinators for the 2008 season are (North) Brian Wilson (South) Peter Dolan.

Safety - Recommendations:

i. Capsized boat with no sailor Brightly coloured tape to be tied on to the Rudder Stock. Showing that the sailor belonging to that boat has been found and attended to – Making it known to all rescue craft no further action is required and they can immediately deal with the next situation that may arise.

ii. Tally System to be implemented at all Topper Travellers and the host club to provide this. So as to register sailors on and off the water.

iii. Contact from water to shore and vise versa be carried out with VHF not Mobile Phones – and allocate a Beach Master.

iv. Allocate one person who is involved with rescue on the water who is familiar with the waters at the relevant venue – and that all communications with regard to rescue situations go through that person – so as to cut down on confusion.

v. Qualified First Aider to be available on shore at events
